I did not know Jim when we were at Prep, but got to know about him when we started the '58 Blog, and got the Cuppa Club together. Jim and a few others lived quite a ways south of where we were scheduling the Cuppa lunches, so Jim, Walt McInerney, Tony Alessi and others started meeting at a diner much closer to where they all lived. Walt sent in a few photos of the group, and we soon inducted them all into the Cuppa Club and sent them their Cuppa Club mugs.

Jim also contributed to the Prep '58 Blog, and as recently as August, 2020 sent in a story about his Grandson Timothy and his choice of Montclair State. He also told us he had lined up stories about his other 6 Grand Kids. "... which will be the subject of future missives - especially Ryan Mack, a left handed sophomore pitcher in the Jack Seigas’ style.)"

We didn't get that story, but we are sure that Jim is watching over Rayn, and the rest of his GKids. Rest in Peace, Jim.
