Arthur A. Trott, Jr., 83, of Whippany, N.J. passed away
Saturday, May 13, 2023
Born in East Orange and raised in Jersey City, Art was a
resident of Whippany for 55 years.
 A
1958 graduate of St. Peter’s Prep, he earned a bachelor’s
degree from Seton Hall University in 1963 and was employed
as a claims manager for over 30 years with Aetna Life and
Casualty and later Traveler’s Insurance Co. before retiring
in 2006.
Art was an avid gardener, enjoyed planting and maintaining
his yard, spending time at the Jersey Shore and taking daily
walks with his wife, Dorothy.
He also enjoyed exercising and socializing at the Y and
finding ways to help others in need.
The beloved husband of 58 years to Dorothy (Parrillo) Trott,
he was the loving father of Steven Trott, and Kristen Luthi
and her husband, Eric Luthi; dear brother of Robert Trott
and his wife, Denise, and the late Patricia Skarlatos. He is
also survived by his beloved cat, Lucky. |
